Spaces and Accessible Seating

We sell wheelchair spaces in person at the Box Office or by phone only. This is because different spaces are suitable for different types of wheelchair and we want to ensure audience members have the correct area for their needs. When booking your ticket please let us know if you require a wheelchair space, as the physical seats usually need to be removed in advance of your arrival.

If you wish to transfer from your wheelchair into a theatre seat, this is also an option as long as you could leave the theatre unaided in the event of an emergency. Our Box Office team will discuss your requirements with you and seat you in the most appropriate area (subject to availability).

Main House

The main house theatre seating is spread across two levels:

The stalls are tiered and are accessed from the foyer level. Row D has level access, with up to 6 wheelchair spaces.

The circle is tiered and accessed by stairs or lift from the ground floor. Row C has level access and has spaces for 2 wheelchair users.

The main house theatre seating can also be retracted for cabaret events, where tables and chairs are all on level access.

When booking your ticket please let us know if you require a wheelchair space, as the physical seats usually need to be removed in advance of your arrival.

Studio

The studio theatre seating is flexible, and the layout varies according to the production; some seating is at floor level with further seating on a flexible tiered seating unit.

There is space for up to 2 wheelchair users in the studio.

The studio seating is usually unreserved, so when booking your ticket please let us know if you require a wheelchair space, so that a space can be reserved for you and your companion/s.

Meeting Rooms

There is a conference space (The Crochan) and a small meeting room (The Casting Room) on the first floor. Both spaces are fully accessible and can be accessed by stairs or lift from the ground floor.
