Llanelli Musical Theatre Group are delighted and proud to be the first theatre group in the UK to be awarded the performance rights for this brand-new adaptation of Gilbert & Sullivan's 'The Pirates of Penzance'.
Imagine a pirate crew so tender-hearted they refuse to rob orphans, led by a dashing Pirate King. Enter his apprentice, Frederic, the ‘Slave of Duty’ who falls for Mabel, daughter of the ‘Modern Major-General’. With the not-so-young nursemaid Ruth, a bumbling police force too scared to fight, and a rag-tag swashbuckling gang of outlaws determined to find love, this chaotic, tune-filled, new take on the Gilbert & Sullivan classic is a guaranteed shipload of fun!
