Step behind the scenes and experience the magic of theatre with a series of FREE Open Doors events. 

From 10:30am - 4pm, join us for an exciting programme of crafts, dance, music, drama and backstage tours. 
Our theatres will come alive with exciting, free activities for all ages – no tickets or bookings needed!
Join us for free creative workshops led by amazing local artist and arts companies, alongside a tour of backstage led by our talented Tech team. End the day with a free performance from Flossy and Boo.

Workshops with:

Mess Up The Mess - Join us for a fun, friendly drama workshop for all ages – families welcome! Enjoy games and creative activities, no experience needed, just come along, get involved and discover the joy of playing and making theatre together.

Ty Celf- Mindful Doodling - A fun session exploring ideas of mindful doodling. Doodling is a wonderful way to quieten the mind, aid relaxation, and explore creativity in a simple format suitable for beginners and experienced doodlers alike. This drop in session will explore creative ideas for doodling with the opportunity to have a go yourself learning new techniques to continue this relaxing practice in your own time.

Music Factory Wales - Dive into music and explore different instruments with The Music Factory Wales.

Frankie Williams – Improvisation workshop with actress, stand up comedian and theatre maker Frankie Williams.

Forest Friends - Saving Wonderland with Fairy Allium- Interactive fun dance and craft workshop Follow the white Rabbit and help the Green Queen find more time to save Wonderland. In this fun workshop based on our show Saving Wonderland participants will get the chance play dance games, use an array of Colourful dance props and create and learn choreography based on the Wonderland characters. Plus create a Tree of Hope decoration. The workshop will end with a hopeful celebration parade dancing with our crafts and costumes.

Butterfly HQ – Wellbeing crafts with Butterfly HQ a time to invest in our wellbeing. 

Jazz with Peri Lynne and Mart - Come listen to Live vintage jazz performance (vocals, sax and tap dancing!) including jazz standards that people feel free to singalong to or dance. Learn a dance move or two from the wonderful jazz singer.

Flossy and Boo presents - The Wandering Wildlings | Y Gwylltion Crwydrol 
Join us on an adventure to find a tale of new. Where stories twist, tales unwind and imaginations brew. The Wandering Wildlings is a joyful pop up interactive theatre adventure, where stories are made in front of your eyes. Join two Wildlings as they gather ideas, sparks and whispers from the crowd, creating brand new myths and folktales. Come walk, come wonder, come make a legend.
