Carmarthen Bay Film Festival’s Best of Short Films Made in Wales
Experience powerful short films from the Carmarthen Bay Film Festival 2025 showcasing bold storytelling with a connection to Wales, from dark comedy to dystopian sci-fi and thought-provoking documentary.
Carmarthen Bay Film Festival (CBFF) is an annual film festival held in person in Llanelli, west Wales and screened online. Over the course of 4 days in May, we screen around 170 independent films from Wales and all over the world, hold special events and industry-specific talks and panels and finish off with a red-carpet gala awards night. CBFF is a highly successful BAFTA British Short Film Competition Qualifying Festival, and BAFTA Cymru/Wales and BAFTA Scotland Recognised Festival.
This free screening will include some of the best of the Short Film Made In Wales category from the 2025 festival. The category submissions must be an original film that has a running time of 40 minutes or less. Any genre can be submitted. The film production must have a connection with Wales.
